Wi-Fi Everywhere

If you've been to school, coffee shops, hotels or even in a unusual places like cemetery, most likely your in a middle of a wireless network. Today many people uses the so called technology to connect to the internet where ever they are or at any given time without the hassle or bustle of finding a computer shop or going back to their houses just to retrieve their emails.

Wi-Fi is a term for or the name of a popular wireless network technology that uses radio waves to provide wireless high-speed internet and network connections. A common misconception is that the term Wi-Fi is short for "wireless-fedility however Wi-Fi is a trademarked term meaning IEEE 802.11. The Wi-Fi term is created by an organization called Wi-Fi Alliance which oversees tests that certify product interoperability. The product that passes the alliance tests is given the label "Wi-Fi Certified" (a registered trademark).

Wi-Fi works with no physical wired connection between the receiver and the sender by using radio frequency technology. It is supported by many applications or devices, such as PDA's or also known as palmtop computers, Mobile Phones, Laptops just to name a few. Wi-Fi has gained public acceptance as an alternative to a Wired LAN. Many places offers public access to Wi-Fi networks, these locations are known as hot spot and they charge you daily or hourly for access but some of it are just for free.

Nowadays that internet is a part of people lives, people cannot leave a day without going online or using an internet, Wi-Fi is really a must technology and there everywhere and we all know that Wi-fi is inexpensive and easy to use, just connect to the wireless network connection and your ready to go, unless you're on the lookout for a place to use your laptop.
